In November, we put three questions to the ergo: elektronik GmbH.

What are the topics your company is currently working on? 

The ergo: elektronik GmbH is currently working on various topics in the field of power electronics. These include the development of a mobile battery trailer with a vehicle battery that offers a capacity of 140 kWh and an output of 125 A ac or 63 A ac at 88 kW. ergo: elektronik GmbH is also working on the development of the Akku-Air with an electric compressor that reaches up to 12 bar and a volume of 6 square metres. With the research project "Blitz", ergo: elektronik is also working on pulsed charging currents. The company also develops PWM power controllers for controlling heating systems using lamps. Another focus is on power electronics for spark erosion and the development of high voltage power supplies and test systems. In addition to these projects, ergo: elektronik GmbH also offers the development and production of customised electronics that are specifically tailored to the needs of the customer.

 

What topics will be relevant or of interest to your company in the future?

For ergo: elektronik GmbH, topics relating to power electronics in the field of high-energy batteries will be of central importance in the future, as will the further development of battery charging technology. ergo: elektronik GmbH is also interested in innovative solutions for the long-term storage of energy, for example using hydrogen or ethanol. Another important area is recycling batteries to help create sustainable cycles and use resources more efficiently.
