After the summer break e-mobil BW was happy to welcome delegations from Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands to Baden-Württemberg. The strong interest in our region shows that Baden-Württemberg has a lot to offer regarding innovative new mobility solutions such as electric mobility, fuel cell or battery technology, setting up a hydrogen economy or the organization of the transition process in the automotive industry.

Sustainable Production of the Future

“Sustainable Production of the Future” was the overall topic of the Danish delegation organized by the Innovation Centre Denmark that visited Baden-Württemberg and e-mobil BW in September 2022. The visit to e-mobil BW had its focus on projects and activities aiming to develop a more flexible and modular production system for electric motors. Two companies from the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West presented their activities and explained their approach to a sustainable production of the future followed by a guided tour through their facilities.

The future of the automotive industry in Germany and Sweden

The study visit of Business Region Gothenburg to Baden-Württemberg in early October focused on the ongoing transition process of the automotive sector. As Gothenburg in an important location for automotive production in Europe just like Baden-Württemberg, both regions are facing similar challenges regarding the future of their automotive industry. How is Baden-Württemberg organizing the transition on a political level? Which working groups of the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West are involved in this process and what is done to support employees with suitable training and life-long learning programs? These were the main topics that were discussed during the 2-days-program which e-mobil BW and Cluster Electric Mobility South-West set up for our colleagues at Business Region Gothenburg.

Exchange on battery technology

“Meet the Dutch” – Battery technology and networking was the focus of the large Dutch delegation that visited Baden-Württemberg in mid-October 2022. Together with partners from the Netherlands e-mobil BW set up a battery technology seminar for companies from Baden-Württemberg as well as the members of the Dutch delegation in order to bring together battery technology experts. Several companies which are partners in the two clusters Electric Mobility South-West and Fuel Cell Baden-Württemberg  took the chance to present their activities and to establish new contacts with suitable partners from the Netherlands.
